Sustainability
In 2015 Tignes became the first ski area in the world to obtain the Green Globe certification. It now ranks among 450 tourism companies across the world with Green Globe accreditation and is the only ski area on the list. Tignes is recognized worldwide for providing a systematic approach to environmental concerns and has taken positive steps to support sustainable development in tourism. These include:
